Yes …these were my problems just a few months ago till the time I did not find this “SECRET “method.

Today I will share with you my secret and effective 11 step formula that has helped me get my 3-month-old baby to sleep within 19 minutes and keep him slept for full night.
How to get my 3 month old to nap -11 step secret technique
Step 1 Know newborn sleep pattern( newborn sleep schedule)
Knowing sleep pattern of newborn babies is the first step toward knowing our baby sleep pattern. find below the sleep pattern chart for babies based on their age groups.

Knowing minimum baby sleeping hours will help us to understand our child’s sleep requirements and his expected awake time.
Step 2 – Decide your baby’s ideal bedtime.
Based on the above sleep pattern, decide the ideal bedtime for your kid. For example, in my case for my 3-month-old baby bed timing between 8.oo P.M to 9.30 P.M is the ideal time as his need 10 to 11 hours of sleep so he slept till 6 A.M to 7 A.M of next morning which gives me enough time for night sleep and other important work.
Step 3- Find the best sleeping aid for a baby.
For full night sleep your baby may need a sleep aid. Research shows that 80 percent of babies below one year of age require one or more types of sleep aid for comfortable sleep. My kid’s sleeping aid is his pacifier but for your child, it could be different. I have mentioned below few sleeping aid option that you can try out.

- Any other soft and small stuff that your child liked ( T shirt, Piece of Cloth etc.)
Step 4- Give your kid a massage.
Kids after the age of 2 months start getting of their abilities, they just wake up at night and start moving their hands and legs.some time they tried to crawl and started crying if unable to do so. Best ways to avoid all such incidents at night is to give a massage to the baby before bedtime.massage will help to increase serotonin secretion level in the body which in turn increases melatonin production in body that help child to get longer sleep. kid massage should be done gently in the right manner. Step 5-laugh with your kid.
Laughing is the best tool to get your kid a faster nap. Studies show that when kids get hungry, fussiness or cry a lot their stress hormones level in the body increase, which does not let them get sleep. Such kids after nap get woke up within 40 to 90 minutes. Laughing is the best and simplest way to reduce the stress level in kid therefore parent should play and laugh with a kid before taking the kid to bed for sleep.
Step -6 Switch off all electronic gadgets in the room.
Electronic devices ( televisions, mobile phones and tablet computers etc ) should be switched off one hour before kid bedtimes as they produce light which reduces the melatonin production in the body and can prevent your child from settling to sleep. Ideally, these devices should be removed from your child bedroom however If your child uses these devices for sleep, you can replace it with playing soothing music.
Step 7-Make your baby sleeping room a little bit noisy.
Yes, the baby doesn’t like to sleep in a silent room instead a little bit noise in room can help your child to sleep for longer hours as it will make them feel that their parents are nearby and they are not alone.
Step 8- Let your child sleep with you.
An infant does not like to sleep alone. Co-Sleeping with parent help child to get more comfort for long hours of sleep also it reduces the number of crying and falling incident of child considerably.
Step 9 – Correct your baby’s sleeping position.
Most of the time we do not care about our child’s sleeping position when a kid gets slept .but scientific findings show that wrong sleep positioning not only makes your kid sleep uncomfortable but could also cause abnormal head moulding or positional plagiocephaly, acquired torticollis and in some cases it may even become the cause of infants Death. The best position for a baby during night sleep is a supine or front lying position. refer the chart below for the correct baby position ( one secret tip if a 15 minute supervised prone or back lying position done during the day playtime then it could help the child to avoid gross motor milestone delays, head moulding, shoulder retraction, and torticollis.) Step 10 -Avoid baby sleep during breastfeed.
If you let your child fell asleep during breastfeeding you are teaching them to associate breastfeeding with sleep, they should be discouraged. Feed your baby when he/she is properly awake or make sure not to feed them for an hour before bedtime. After 4 months of age, most of the babies do not require night breastfeed. In case if they urge then you can use a milk bottle for night feed purposes. This will help kid to not associate their sleep with breastfeeding and to get better sleep.
11) Remove Distraction, if any.
You must observe your child’s behaviour during bedtime and list out all those things that distract him or her from sleep. Next time onward try to avoid all those things during baby bedtime.
All above steps are tested and used by me .it worked well for my son to get nap in just 19 minutes but as we know that all kids are not the same and they behave differently in same environments therfore if these11 steps do not help your child sleep, then I have one more step that will surely be helpful for any kid of any age to get to sleep quickly.
