During my pregnancy I found these tips quite useful and helpful. So I decided to share it with you as well so that you can also take benefits of same.
Here are 5 secret pregnancy tips that nobody will tell you in your pregnancy:
Do take your Prenatal Vitamins Timely
Vitamins play important role in pregnancy . Baby brain and spinal cord development start from your first month of pregnancy hence it become too important that no vitamin or nutrient deficiency should be there in your body otherwise same will be transfer to your child as well. Vitamins like Folic Acid , Calcium and Iron are the base for the health pregnancy you can easily get them from medical store by prescription of your doctor.
You can take vitamins with light food or at night before going to Bed . You should also consult with your doctor before finalizing your vitamin dose as its requirement may vary from one to other depending upon your diet, location and health condition( like allergic with certain items) .
Do Exercise Carefully
Physical activities and Exercise are important for you and your baby but you should not do it in excess. Few tips that you can follow during exercise are:
- Do start your exercise slowly ,progress slowly and cool down slowly. You should be able to talk during Exercise if your are unable to do so then you are overdoing it.
- Do take number of breaks while doing exercise and avoid doing jerky , bouncing, high impact movement and exercise on your back as these are unsafe for you and your child.
- Avoid doing exercise at location of high altitudes ,high heat or high humidity area.
- Do drink lots of Fluid before, during and after exercise.
- If you feel Dizziness ,Headace, any pain in body, blurred vision, fluid leaking or bleeding from vagina ,low fetal movement or contraction then do stop your exercise and call your doctor immediately and get your medical checkup as it may be symptoms of some complication.
Do practice Kegel Exercise
Kegel Exercise will makes your baby delivery easy and also control bladder leakage. Kegal exercise will develop pelvic floor muscles these are the same muscles that one used to stop the flow of urine. If you do not know about your pelvic muscles then to find it put your finger into the vagina and try to squeeze it. If you feel pressure around the finger, then you have found your pelvic floor muscles .
To do this Kegel exercise do follow these steps :
- Lie down on bed.
- Tighten your pelvic floor muscles for a count of three, then relax for a count of three.
- Repeat it 9-15 times and three times a day .
Avoid X rays unless until its urgent
During pregnancy try to avoid for going X rays unless until its emergency. Exposure to High X ray during early pregnancy could lead to miscarriage whereas in two to Eight weeks it could risk to growth restriction or birth defects while after eight week it could affect baby brain growth. However diagnostic X ray expose you to very low amount of X ray but you should inform your doctor about your pregnancy before going for X ray so that he could recommend some other test or give you X ray shield if it is necessary.
Schedule Travel Smartly
Avoid going for long distance travel during third trimester especially in Flight as you might feel dizziness or morning sickness in it. Most of the airlines allow flight travel only upto eight month of pregnancy. I also recommend that you should not travel for long distance after eight month if it necessary or unavoidable then either use car or train as mode of travel also ensure you sit safely and avoid any jerks during travel.
There are many does and don’t in pregnancy about which you are not aware .It is always recommended that you must keep educating yourself during pregnancy so that you can take right decision in right time for you and your baby health.
